Meet with recruiters to network and discuss internships and entry-level professional positions. Open to CMU students and recent alumni with majors/minors in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, and Computer related areas.

Full Description:

"Meet the Recruiters" Night, sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi, is a forum for making many contacts with recruiters who are offering challenging internships and professional entry-level job opportunities. It is a targeted career event for CMU undergraduate and graduate students, and recent alumni. Recruiters are targeting students with majors/minors in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Information Technology and Computer related areas.

• Check the Career Services web site frequently to view the list of registered employers, review the latest updates, and research company information and job postings.
• Prepare a one minute personal commercial and use it to introduce yourself to recruiters.
• Dress in professional business attire and bring a large supply of error-free resumes to the event to make these important contacts.

Some employer representatives will offer formal on-campus interviews
after the event. CMU students, if you are not already registered, create
an account and register for eRecruiting online at http://cmich.experience.com/er/security/login.jsp. Remember, only CMU students who are registered through the eRecruiting system will be able to participate in on-campus interviews.

Logistics for the Day of the Event:

• No pre-registration or entrance fees required.
  
• The students enter the Rotunda Room through the main lobby of the Bovee University Center.
  
• Students with CMU parking permits are restricted to the lots that their parking permits allow. Note: Legally parked vehicles are not ticketed in campus parking lots or metered lots after 4:00 p.m.
  
• Participants will receive a printed roster of employers and a site map on the day of the event.
  
• Doors open to participants at 6:00 p.m.
  
• Event concludes at 8:00 p.m.
